Participants will gain essential skills in managing situations such as disorderly conduct, trespassing, welfare checks, alcohol-related incidents, overdoses, loud music, loitering, and indecent exposure. The training will focus on maintaining calm, professionalism, and clear communication under pressure while also applying appropriate protocols for dispatching law enforcement, medical, or other emergency responders.
Through practical scenarios and role-playing exercises, telecommunicators will develop a deeper understanding of the nature of these disturbances and the best methods for gathering critical information, assessing potential risks, and responding appropriately.
